  2. In my opinion, key factor which caused occurence of symptom rempit is peer influence. Boyhood is time where youth more finish their time with friends compared other people. This cause their friend will be more influence those in doing any activity.

  3. Yes, i agree with Mr Haikal which is peer influence and pressure, is the main reasons that lead most of our teenagers nowadays to become 'mat rempit'. According to police statistics between January to May (2006), 2970 of the 3183 people arrested for illegal racing were aged between 16 and 25 years.
This shearing activities and experience usually start at young age where they are in the stage of knowing the outside world (out of their family)and try something new with their friends.
This kind or influence usually brought by their problematic friends .

  4. That is quite right nabila. But I think one of the factors the rest which caused occurence of mat rempit symptom is influence from film. Lately, many films in malaysia that broadcast story which contains action illegal racing. this causing youth group imitate action that is that film. Are you support my opinion???????

  5. I very agree with Mr Haikal's opinion. Most of teenagers influenced from film that have elements of 'Rempit'.Examples of film that contribute with elements of 'Rempit' is 'Rempit','Rempit V3' and 'Bohsia'. All this film mould negative elements 'Mat Rempit' that has been followed by most today's teens.

  10. Yes, i agree that youth's involvement by in the illegal racing is also influenced by mass media. Many movies are using daring stunts which involve motorcyclists to attract moviegoers especially teenagers. Mr Haikal, actually, every film director give many message and lesson based on their film. Now, the problem is, audiance not learn and understand the meaning of the film. In contrary, teenagers, more interested in the stunt and element of action in the film.

  11. I would like to add something, another factor contributing to this phenomenon is the absence of a racing circuit that suitable. The government should build a special circuit for racing motorcycles across the country.

  12. ooh..sorry for my misunderstanding...i am too emotional.:( i agree with your opinion mr syafnan..we must support the suggestion to build a special circuit for racing motorcycle across the country..by the way, i want to add another factors which is self safety..what do you think about it??

  13. Self safety is the most important. When they are racing at special circuit, they do not have to worry about their safety because there are paramedic team is in charge at the circuit,so,when the racers involved in accident, the paramedic team will help to save their life quickly instead they are racing in highway and there are no paramedic team there.

  14. Mr syafnan, i agree with your opinion. But, i think your opinion is not suitable to this topic. Refer to this topic, what is the factor that contribute to rempit activity. Self safety that i mean is when they are join rempit activity, they can got a lot of friend, especially when they join a group..the member of the group will protect the other member when they had a trouble..

  15. Yeah..i also do not understand what Mr Syafnan trying to says..What is it means?? hmmm..

    ReplyDelete
  16. I think Mr Syafnan means the safety of mat rempit when they join illegal racing..i agree with his opinion, but its not suitable for this topic.

  17. Ok..let's continue, the next main causes is the place (racing track). The former racing track like the Sepang Circuit, located at Sepang that can be used by the public with the permission. Somehow, these young teenagers don't really prefer to race at that place, as they claimed that it would cost them a higher expenses to buy a proper attire for their safety as well as the access fee to use the circuit.

  18. But i think 'Mat Rempit' like to race at the area that have a difficult challenge such as racing at the highway that full with other tranports because 'Mat Rempit' like the challenged.

  19. yes,,i very agreee with mr kamal opinion. from the biological factors, mat rempit like the challenge because adrenaline in their body were increase,,.
