I wonder what's in the mind of those society's trash. Just because of the rush of adrenalin and to let off the steam, they race with their bikes on public roads without obeying the traffic rules, doing stunts and enjoying themselves without caring for the suffering of the other. They think it is cool, but they never realize that they are not only endanger their own life, but the other road users as well. And now they are Malaysia no.1 public enemy! Well done man!
Personally, i do not agree with the UMNO youth (and i question the purpose of them doing that too), who set up clubs for mat rempits in an effort to reach out to the youngsters and change society's negative perception of them. For me, it's just a waste of time. Why the society hold negative perception against them if they didn't do anything wrong? They are hated by the public because they always involved in accidents, vandalism, gangsterism, robbery, promiscuity, drugs, theft, fighting and many other society's problems.

Mat Rempit is term to motorcyclists which involved in illegal race, usuallyby using motto kapcai or scooter. It is one social problem youth in Malaysia today. Minah Rempit on the other hand could be is a womanracer, or girlfriend Mat Rempit.
Although many Mat Rempit often race, there is also that only ridedangerously on the road. Mat Rempit usually grouped and will be racing in the middle of city at night weekend.
Most motorcycle that used Mat Rempit do not meet standard, or was modified with many. In fact there are still Mat Rempit which had no valid licence, did not pay road tax and on motorbikes stealing. Currently ,housing estate also has been converted into racing circuit by Mat Rempit.Estimated in Malaysia alone there are about 200,000 Mat Rempit. Termthis Mat Rempit also used in Singapore and Indonesia by way of something that same.
They act at dusk, night or after parents return from working. This youthsteal motorcycle key or justify buy goods in nearby shop or go to night market.
